Corporate Social Responsibility

Global voluntary work

One of the founding principles of Woodley BioReg was to improve the regulatory infrastructure to make medicines effective, safe, and of the same quality for all patients around the world and especially in developing nations.

This is reflected in the pro-bono work carried out in S.E. Asia, working with NGOs, universities, and local companies to educate and improve their understanding of compliance, cGMP, quality systems, and regulatory management of API and pharmaceutical manufacture.

Educational initiatives

As part of our commitment to improving knowledge and understanding in global regulatory affairs, Woodley BioReg regularly present at industry conferences such as TOPRA. We are always happy to discuss any specific issues or queries at these events, so please come and say hello.

Woodley BioReg also runs a series of training presentations and seminars from our HQ in Huddersfield which are open to our employees, consultants, and industry colleagues to learn and share experiences.

Centre of excellence

Woodley BioReg is committed to providing healthcare industry training to graduates to ensure they recognise the importance of regulatory affairs in patient safety. Working with local universities, we aim to help life science graduates build a career in this exciting industry.

For more information please look at our careers page here for current opportunities with Woodley BioReg.

Environmental initiatives

Woodley BioReg strives to minimise its carbon footprint and wherever possible uses energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable methods of working. An example of this is the sympathetically converted 300-year-old Midland Mill, which houses the company’s headquarters in Yorkshire.

The mill has been fitted with automatic energy efficient / LED lighting and heating systems, and insulated to exceed planning authority standards to minimise the impact of the commercial offices whilst retaining the character of the original building. Woodley BioReg’s environmental policies encourage recycling and the use of sustainable resources.
